 In order to keep your maintenance cost down and get the maximum life out of your buildings and equipment, you need a good Preventive Maintenance Program. We will show how to develop policies and procedures that will help in setting up a preventive maintenance program or up-dating your present one. This information-packed workshop will assist Facility Management Departments to effectively reduce their long-term maintenance costs by strengthening their preventive maintenance procedures.

This training workshop offers detailed instruction on all aspects of problem solving from what to check - how to check, and ultimately how to perform actual preventive maintenance procedures.

We will help Maintenance Supervisors to improve the overall operation of their Maintenance Departments.  Emphasis is placed upon scheduling employees & monitoring their progress, maintenance administration & supervision, how to save the Department time & money, employee relations, and solving maintenance problems.

            ON SITE TRAINING

The workshop was developed at the request of maintenance supervisors, foremen, and lead people who have shared concerns about common problems that are faced when a supervising a maintenance department.

The format of the training session is that of a participatory group exchange between the workshop participants and the workshop leader, to examine mutual difficulties, and to exchange information aimed at making their own maintenance departments substantially more effective.

The workshop is intended to be flexible so that maintenance supervisory problems pertinent to the workshop participants can be thoroughly addressed during the roundtable discussions, with helpful information being exchanged among participants. Case studies will be presented during the training session which will allow groups of workshop participants to interact and discuss effective ways to solve maintenance problems. This participatory-type of training has proven to be extremely beneficial for those in attendance at previous workshop of this nature.

We will help Maintenance Supervisors to Reduce Maintenance Costs.  By improving maintenance management, revising preventive maintenance programs, work order systems and reducing energy consumption.  We will also show how to save on purchasing and have a good inventory control system. Plus, how to have a well organized Maintenance office. 

This workshop emphasizes basic maintenance techniques for making adjustments, repairs, and replacements of electrical, plumbing, windows, doors, walls, floors, major appliances, and heating systems.  Detailed Handouts and Guidelines that visually and descriptively tell how to perform maintenance and repair work will be provided to each participant.

This workshop is designed for anyone who needs to understand basic electricity to improve their safety and efficiencies at their facilities.  Agenda topics include understanding electricity, safety, difference between AC and DC, understanding and using the commonly used electrical testers and hands-on electrical wiring.  Detailed Handouts and Guidelines that visually and descriptively tell how to perform maintenance and repair work will be provided to each participant.
